An excellent cost effective wireless DMX receiver & transmitter set. Perfect for applications where wiring from a controller to DMX lights is hard to install. Mobile shows are quicker and easier to setup and pull down times reduced to a minimum whilst making fixed installations simpler to manage and operate.

Operation

The WIRELESS-TR set is easy to use and comes in the form of male and female 3 pin XLR connectors. Simply plug the male XLR into a DMX controller and the female XLR into the first DMX light in the chain, (each plug requires power so they are supplied is own UK 5 Vdc power supply). Once connected and a DMX signal is seen the receiver LED will flash green and the transmitter will flash red, your connected, it's as simple as that.
There are 7 different working frequencies to choose from, these are selected by pushing a small switch on each connector which will display a different colour LED. The frequency selection should be done before connection to any lights or controller and the LED's should be set to the same colour, this will allow the user to use multiple DMX lines in one venue or if one frequency is already being used simply select another frequency.
You can use as many receivers as you need as long as they are set to the same channel as the transmitter. So for a theatre applications you can use one transmitter and then install a receiver to each wired lighting bar, then use DMX cables to wire the rest of the lights on each bar.
