Par lamps contain the bulb and the lens for Par cans and when together, make the one complete lighting unit. The can simply acts as the outer casing it is the Par lamps that determine the power and the beam angle.
As you will see in this section, most Par lamps are offered in a range of beam spreads covering narrow spot right through to full flood. In addition to this Par lamps tend to be oval in shape meaning they can be rotated to adjust the output spread. The Par lamps should only be used in the correct type can and maximum wattages and suitability should be checked before use. Some of the Par lamps in this section are offered in a choice of colours but for greater flexibility and a broader colour range, use standard clear Par lamps with our gels.
